Meeting of the Board of Supervisors at their office, 200 E. Bridge St,
Elkader, IA
Present: Larry Gibbs, Wayne Bockenstedt, Randy Keehner
A public hearing was conducted on an amendment to the minor subdivision
plat of Blume Subdivision. Donald Blume and Janet Ott were present. A
copy of the amended plat was present for inspection.
Motion by Bockenstedt, seconded by Keehner, to approve resolution
#2-2010 regarding an amendment to the minor subdivision plat of Blume
Subdivision.

Resolution # 2-2010
Accepting the amendment to the minor subdivision plat of Blume
Subdivision
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Board of Supervisors of Clayton
County, Iowa, an amended plat of real property hereinafter designated as
Blume Subdivision and described as: a subdivision of part of the
southwest quarter of the northwest quarter and part of government lot 2
of Section 3, Township 91 North, Range 2 West of the fifth principal
meridian, Clayton County, Iowa,
WHEREAS, Donald Blume as owner of said real property, has executed and
acknowledged an instrument consenting to said plat,
WHEREAS, it appears that said plat amendment complies with all
requirements of Chapters 354 and 355 of the Code of Iowa,
WHEREAS, the Clayton County Subdivision Review Committee has recommended
approval of said subdivision, affirming that it has complied with all
the regulations of Clayton County, Iowa,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Clayton County Board of Supervisors that
the Board approves as an official subdivision amendment, the plat of
real property to be known as Blume Subdivision, (approximately 6 acres)
situated in Clayton County, Iowa, and described as: a subdivision of
part of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter and part of
government lot 2 of Section 3, Township 91 North, Range 2 West of the
fifth principal meridian, Clayton County, Iowa,
Motion by Keehner, seconded by Bockenstedt, to appoint Rodger Sear, Sr.,
Garber, to the Clayton County Zoning Board of Adjustment for a term
ending December 31, 2014. Ayes: Gibbs, Bockenstedt, Keehner
Motion by Bockenstedt, seconded by Keehner, to approve the quarterly
report of fees of the County Sheriff ($24,230.22 ), County Recorder
($30,533.92) and County Auditor ($718.51). Ayes: Gibbs, Bockenstedt,
Keehner
Nancy Yelden, Director of Visiting Nurses Association, presented a
budget proposal of $84,245 for deficit funding of the association for
the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011.
Terry Benzel, Winneshiek County Landfill Director, informed the Board of
Supervisors that the Winneshiek County Solid Waste Agency has
prohibiting the deposit of corrugated cardboard in the landfill
effective February 1, 2010. Corrugated cardboard is to be recycled.
