Meeting of the Board of Supervisors at their office, 200 E. Bridge St.,
Elkader, IA
Present: Larry Gibbs, Wayne Bockenstedt, Randy Keehner
Paul Olson discussed a problem with people going down the bank of the
river between his property and the county’s to the dam. The board
reviewed the problem area and discussed some options to the problem.
The board approved claims for payment.
Motion by Bockenstedt, seconded by Gibbs, to authorize the chairman to
sign the contracts and bonds for the rock letting. Ayes: Gibbs,
Bockenstedt, Keehner
Darla Kelchen, Clayton County Development Group, presented a resolution
regarding establishment of the Northeast Iowa Regional Housing Trust
Fund. After discussion, motion by Gibbs, seconded by Bockenstedt, to
table the resolution. Ayes: Gibbs, Bockenstedt, Keehner
After discussion about the Jail –Care of prisoners budget, motion by
Gibbs, seconded by Bockenstedt, to publish for a $96,000 budget
amendment. Ayes: Gibbs, Bockenstedt, Keehner
