Meeting of the Board of Supervisors at their office, 200 E. Bridge St., Elkader, IA.
Present: Larry Gibbs, Wayne Bockenstedt, Randy Keehner
The board approved claims for payment.
Motion by Keehner, seconded by Bockenstedt, to approve renewal of a beer permit for TJ’s Pizza. Ayes: Gibbs, Bockenstedt, Keehner
Darla Kelchen, Clayton County Development Group, and Carolyn Corbin, Upperexplorerland Regional Planning Commission, discussed different economic development strategies regarding Willmark Energy’s ethanol plant.
Tax Increment Financing, Urban Revitalization and Tax Abatement programs were discussed. A consultation with Dorsey & Whitney was arranged.
