Meeting of the Clayton County Board of Supervisors at their office, 200 E. Bridge St., Elkader, Iowa.
Present: Larry Gibbs, Wayne Bockenstedt, Randy Keehner
Motion by Keehner, seconded by Bockenstedt to approve claim from Mitchell Construction for sign installation in the amount of $1,850.00. Ayes: Gibbs, Keehner and Bockenstedt. Motion carried.
Second reading of rezoning request for Willmark Energy from A-1 (Agricultural) to M-2 (Heavy Industrial). Motion by Bockenstedt to approve rezoning request, seconded by Keehner. Ayes: Gibbs, Keehner and Bockenstedt. Motion carried.
It is noted, as was previously stipulated, that in the event the production of ethanol is terminated at this property, the zoning will automatically revert back to A-1 (Agricultural).
Motion made by Bockenstedt, seconded by Keehner to waive the third hearing on the rezoning request of Willmark Energy from A-1 to M-2. Ayes: Gibbs, Keehner and Bockenstedt. Motion carried.
Motion by Keehner, seconded by Bockenstedt to approve the tax suspension request of Marvin Buchheit for taxes payable in fiscal year ending June 30, 2008. Ayes: Gibbs, Keehner, and Bockenstedt.
