Meeting of the Board of Supervisors at their office, 200 E. Bridge St., Elkader, IA.

Present:  Larry Gibbs, Wayne Bockenstedt, Randy Keehner

The County Recorder certified Deputy Recorder, Debra Tyer’s salary percentage at 62% of the County Recorder’s salary effective July 1, 2007.

A plat of Lot 1 of Lot 2 SW SW  in Section 22, Township 92, Range 5, was presented for approval. The County Engineer discussed the question of ownership of this parcel with the board.  Motion by Bockenstedt, seconded by Keehner to deny approval of the plat until required information is presented.  Ayes:  Gibbs, Bockenstedt, Keehner

Jean Gage, CPC, met with the board to sign a contract with Covenant for mental health and substance abuse services.  Motion by Keehner, seconded by Bockenstedt, to sign the contract.  Ayes:  Gibbs, Bockenstedt, Keehner

County Treasurer, Linda Orr, met with the board to discuss abating mobile home taxes in Marquette on mobile homes that were flooded on July 17^th.  The board delayed action till they can consult with the County Attorney.
