Meeting of the Board of Supervisors at their office, 200 E. Bridge St., Elkader, IA.

Present:  Larry Gibbs, Wayne Bockenstedt, Randy Keehner

The board approved claims for payment.

Motion by Keehner, seconded by Bockenstedt, to appoint Margaret Flansca to the Clayton County Historic Preservation Commission.  Ayes:  Gibbs, Bockenstedt, Keehner

Motion by Bockenstedt, seconded by Keehner, to abate mobile home taxes of the eight mobile homes that were flooded on July 17, 2007, in the Marquette mobile home park and the one mobile home in Strawberry Point on Wally Rowcliffe’s mobile home park.

Motion by Keehner, seconded by Bockenstedt, to appoint Lawrence Fox to the Veteran Affairs Commission in replacement of Gene Cooper.  Ayes:  Gibbs, Bockenstedt, Keehner
