Meeting of the Board of Supervisors at their office, 200 E. Bridge St., Elkader, IA.
Present: Neil Meyer, Larry Gibbs Absent: Robert Walke
The board received a proposal for converting the old jail building into a bed and breakfast from JACK Management, LLC represented by Julie Carlisle-Kane. Several people from the Elkader area were present to show their support of the proposal. The proposal was taken under advisement.
Motion by Meyer, seconded by Gibbs, to authorize the Board Chairman to sign a road maintenance agreement with the State of Iowa for Pikes Peak State Park.

The following bids were received for Project L-222-06 (resurfacing on Edgewood Ave also known as Luana Creamery Road):
Tschiggfrie Excavating - $190,209.35
Skyline Construction - $209,997.99
Motion by Meyer, seconded by Gibbs, to award the contract to Tschiggfrie Excavating for Project L-222-06. Ayes: Neil Meyer, Larry Gibbs
