Meeting of Board of Supervisors at their office, 200 E. Bridge St., Elkader, IA.
Present: Robert Walke, Neil Meyer, Larry Gibbs
A public hearing was held on a proposed hog confinement construction permit for R. Bruce Nieman dba Willow Bend LLC in section 6 of Wagner Township. Mr. Nieman explained the project. No one was present to object to the project.
Linda Orr, County Treasurer, discussed the wages and status of the clerks that are a part of her staff. Motion by Meyer, seconded by Walke, to allow the Treasurer’s Office to convert current clerks Cathy White, Maureen Schroeder, and Sandy Ashline to deputies.
Motion by Walke, seconded by Meyer, to approve the minutes of June 26 & 28, 2006. Ayes: Walke, Meyer, Gibbs
