Motion by Meyer, seconded by Walke, to approve resolution # 27-2006 regarding to close a portion of 145th St in Mendon Township. Ayes: Walke, Meyer, Gibbs
Resolution # 27-2006
WHEREAS, it has been requested to temporarily close a portion of 145th Street in Mendon Township, Section 29 and Section 30 from 28938 145th Street easterly to the intersection with Jade Avenue from August 18, 2006 thru August 20, 2006.
WHEREAS, the Clayton County Board of Supervisors has determined that it is in the best interest of public safety to close the above portion of 145th Street from August 18, 2006 thru August 20, 2006.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Clayton County Board of Supervisors that approval is given for said closure.
Linda Orr, Co. Treasurer, informed the board that she wished to continuing to use Polk County for the internet tax and tag program. A contract will be coming to approve.
Motion by Walke, seconded by Meyer, to declare that Burke Construction Co. meets the LMI factor in the Diamond Eagle tax increment financing district due to the mobile home court present in the area. Ayes: Walke, Meyer, Gibbs
