Meeting of the Board of Supervisors at their office, 200 E. Bridge St., Elkader, IA.
Present: Neil Meyer, Larry Gibbs Absent: Robert Walke
A public hearing was held on final plat approval of Emerald Valley Estates Subdivision Phase 2. The minutes from the Planning and Zoning Commission were present. The owner, George Leonard, was present. No one voiced opposition to the plat.
Motion by Meyer, seconded by Gibbs, to approve resolution #21-2006 regarding final plat approval of Emerald Valley Estates Subdivision Phase 2. Ayes: Meyer, Gibbs
Resolution #21-2006
Accepting the final plat of Emerald Valley Estates Subdivision Phase 2
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Board of Supervisors of Clayton County, Iowa, a plat of real property hereinafter designated as Emerald Valley Estates Phase 2 and described as: a subdivision of part of Section 9, Township 92 North, Range 5 West of the 5th P.M., Cox Creek Township, Clayton County, Iowa,
WHEREAS, George Leonard as owner of said real property, has executed and acknowledged an instrument consenting to said plat,
WHEREAS, it appears that said plat complies with all requirements of Chapters 354 and 255 of the Code of Iowa,
WHEREAS, the Clayton County Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval of said subdivision, affirming that it has complied with all the regulations of Clayton County, Iowa,
WHEREAS, the owner has made minor revisions of the original approved plat prior to recording,
WHEREAS, the streets are not to be accepted into the county’s road system,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Clayton County Board of Supervisors that the Board approves as an official subdivision, the plat of real property to be known as Emerald Valley Estates Subdivision Phase 2, (approximately 21.41 acres) situated in Clayton County, Iowa, and described as: a subdivision of part of Section 9, Township 92 North, Range 5 West of the 5th P.M., Cox Creek Township, Clayton County, Iowa.
