Meeting of the Board of Supervisors at their office, 200 E. Bridge St., Elkader, IA.
Present: Robert Walke, Neil Meyer, Larry Gibbs
The board approved claims for payment.
Joel Biggs and Mike Oberbroeckling updated the board on E911 administration issues and recent developments such as sign billing systems, Cassville tower lease, addressing issues, sign and residence marker installation and maintenance, budget and funding analysis, road name problems with Allamakee County border, GPS locating system for new numbering and salary updating.
Darrell Mills, Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, and Larry Stone discussed issues which impact possible changes to the Clayton County Zoning Ordinance. Bluff land protection and forest management through easement purchase for protection from development purposes was discussed.
Motion by Gibbs, seconded by Walke, to approve the minutes of August 29 and 31 and September 6 and 7, 2005. Ayes: Walke, Meyer, Gibbs
