Meeting of the Board of Supervisors in their office on East Bridge St., Elkader.
Present: Meyer, Gibbs, Walke
Claims were approved for payment.
County Auditor Dennis Freitag presented the following resolution for Board approval.
Gibbs moved to approve RESOLUTION #1-2005, WHEREAS, for the past several years the county share of FICA & IPERS for the Secondary Road employees has been paid out of the General Supplemental funds,
WHEREAS, this expenditure can be paid from either the General Supplemental fund, Rural Service Supplemental fund of Secondary Road fund,
WHEREAS, currently the Secondary Road fund has a greater ability to fund this expenditure than the General Supplemental fund,
WHEREAS, the General Supplemental fund has various other needs to fund with less balance to accomplish it with,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Clayton County, Iowa, that the County Auditor be directed to pay the county share of FICA and IPERS for Secondary Road fund employees out of the Secondary Road fund effective for payrolls paid outh after January 1, 2005.
Walke seconded and all vote aye.
Gibbs moved to approve minutes of January 3 and 5. Walke seconded and all voted aye.
Chairman declared meeting adjourned.
