Meeting of the Board of Supervisors in their office on East Bridge St., Elkader. Present: Walke, Meyer, and Gibbs
The public hearing was again reconvened (from Monday, November 1, 2004) and the board, on the advice of the County Attorney, answered the four items from the Monday afternoon meeting as follows:
The seven day notice to P/Z members allows for P/Z members to object, if they did not feel they had time enough to study the information. No member objected. On S-12, item 4 applies only if PUBLIC improvements are involved, which they are not in this project. The item concerning final plat requirements refers to items necessary before RECORDING the final plat. The oversight on the spelling of the name of the project on the plat could have been amended by the Board of Supervisors.
Meyer moved to disapprove the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation to approve the River Bluff Resort's application to rezone the property, the preliminary plat, and the final plat, because a wrong zoning classification was used. Gibbs seconded and all voted aye.
Gibbs moved to approve minutes of November 3. Meyer seconded and all voted aye.
Chairman declared meeting adjourned.
