Based on recommendation of the architect, Gibbs moved to authorize Archetype Design Group, Inc., to contract with the low bidders. Meyer seconded and all voted aye. In addition to members of the press, Joel Biggs and Greg Koether were present to hear discussion on zoning ordinance amendments. Following considerable discussion on changes to certain portions of the county’s zoning ordinance, Meyer moved to publish the following amendment on November 17 and hold public hearings in the Board of Supervisors Office on Monday, November 22 and Wednesday, November 24. Gibbs seconded and all voted aye. “Propose amending the Planning and Zoning Ordinance to include a Conditional Use concept n R-2, Residential-Multi Family Dwelling and adding Condominiums, Town Houses, and Row Houses containing zero lot lines to the Conditional Use concept with in an R-2 Zone.” Meyer moved to approve minutes of November 8.
