ORDINANCE NO. D
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE ON SITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL SYSTEM RULES OF THE IOWA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE (CHAPTER 69,) FOR CLAYTON COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, the State of Iowa has enacted legislation requiring a permit from the Department of Natural Resources prior to the construction of any new water wells in the state, and
WHEREAS, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources has adopted rules to implement the said statutory provisions (1987 Iowa Code Supplement Section 455B.18F),
BE IT ENACTED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CLAYTON COUNTY, IOWA:
THAT the said Chapter 69 of Iowa Administrative Code in its entirety shall henceforth be the On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System rules of Clayton County,
EXCEPT THAT:
The fee for the permit for construction or reconstruction shall be established by the Clayton County Board of Supervisors, at a public meeting, and stated in the official minutes of that governing body.
The contractor performing any such construction or reconstruction shall be licensed in Clayton County.
